Dog Trick Competition
Have you taught your dog some pretty amazing tricks? Or, have you taught your dog a trick that was worthy of late night television's famous "Stupid Pet Tricks"? Whether good or bad, we want to see your dog's tricks. Each trick will be judged on the following criteria:
How difficult was the trick to perform.
How impressed were the judges with the trick performed. Either simple or difficult, how much of an impression did it leave.
We all appreciate a good laugh, and so do our judges. "Stupid Pet Tricks" that get our judges laughing have a chance to earn extra points.
* Please note the term "Stupid Pet trick" is in reference to a late night television comedy title and no party involved is using this term in a derogatory manner.
This criteria may change at the judges' discretion prior to the event and will be posted here for reference. This event is an amateur trick competition so all points awarded are at the judges' opinion only and may not be disputed. There will be a minimum of 3 judges present and they may not enter a contestant for themselves or anyone in their immediate family. If there is a bias towards a participant it must be disclosed and the judge will we replaced for that particular contestant. Please keep in mind that this is an amateur trick competition and the goal is to have fun.
There will be a registration fee of a minimum $10 donation to the Burlington Human Society and a first place prize to be awarded to the winner. All registrants will agree to release the rights to any photos taken during the pageant for promotional purposes.
